Training at Monthly Meetings
You can get one hour of required foster parent training at each meeting. The trainings are designed to be informative and practical in addition to meeting DFCS requirements for training hours. Check the calendar for past and future training topics.

CPR and First Aid
CPR and First Aid will be offered by GFFAF three times this year. There is a $30 fee for members for these trainings, but the fee is reimbursable by DFCS for foster parents. This is the Red Cross curriculum. CPR certication is good for one year. First Aid is good for three. Our next class will be Saturday, July 19th.

On-line Training
Foster parents can complete 5 of their 10 training hours each year on-line. Click on Links for approved on-line training sites.
